Korea 2005 Iron Fortress - Campaign Summary by Loophole

Reviewing the final statistics for our campaign.

The Hard Yards: December 2009 - February 2010 by Loophole

The closing stages of the campaign see an all-out battle for air superiority.  Bouyed by success, and well supplied, our troops are pushing north for victory, while the DPRK throws everything they have against them in a bid to slow them down!

Pushback: May-November 2009 by Loophole

We continue to push northward through day 3 and 4 of the campaign, against limited ground opposition, but with significant enemy air activity.  Our forces have recaptured most of the west-coast and central airbases, and are starting to appoach Seoul and the demarkation line.

April 2009 - China Dawn by host

The April meeting saw us fly through the wee hours of day 3, up to dawn.  Our troops continue to push north, but the revitalised enemy air forces were pushing back in overwhelming numbers!  We learned the importance of good tactics and organised communications.

Flying Online
Minimize

We are starting to look into running online flying sessions, possibly on a weekly basis, to provide flying opportunities for members who find it difficult to regularly make the monthly LAN meetings.

These sessions may include flying in our regular Falcon 4 campaign, and more experimental flying with DCS:A-10, DCS:Black Shark, Lock On, IL-2, and Wings of Prey, depending on support and interest.

Such sessions will be primarily for club members, but on occasions we may also invite guests to join in.  Discussion and organisation of these sessions will be via the club's google group.
